Would you ever guess that the village we see, and model after, is based on real life? Hope you said yes, because then you’d be right. Double right in fact, since that poor, provincial town is based on two very real places that you can still see today.

An intricate, yet awesome, costume to tackle, Mr. and Mrs. Strange took up the gauntlet of Cogsworth, the tightly wound butler slowly turning into a clock. Check out how they designed this costume and put it together.

We sat down with Mr. Bryan Page, composer, performer, and all around musician extraordinaire for a quick look at the music of Beauty and the Beast and some advice for young performers. Check out his words of wisdom!

One of the main characters in Beauty and the Beast is Lumiere, one of the Beast’s trusty servants that is slowly turning into a candle chandelier. This character takes a bit different of a costume approach, with candles for hands. This is how we went about making Lumiere’s hands.
